Developing your intuition

In order to print out the cards at the bottom of this page place you mouse cursor over the image and select the print option from the pop up tool bar. For best results, please ensure that you first do the Awakening Your Senses Exercise, at the end of Chapter 15 in Discover Atlantis.

Using fairly thick white cardboard, create a set of six cards using the symbols below. To aid the clarity of the images ensure that the symbols are in bold, dark blue against a white background and that you cannot see the symbols from the back of the card. You will also need a notebook in which to keep a record of your progress, as this will help you to monitor your improvement. Write the numbers 1 to 21 down the left hand side of your notebook.

Keep your practice sessions standard, i.e. make the same number of attempts each session. We recommend that you do this exercise a total of twenty-one times in each session.

1. Shuffle your six cards so that you cannot see the symbols. For cards click here .
2. Place the cards face down and side-by-side on a table in front of you.
3. Choose a card and place it in front of you. Do not look at the symbol.
4. Now gently concentrate your attention on the card.
5. Take the first symbol that appears to you. You may see it, hear it or simply sense it, depending on whether you are naturally clairvoyant, clairaudient or clairsentient.
6. Once you sense what the card is – remember to go with the initial first message – turn it over.
7. Each time you are correct put a tick on your list in your notebook.
8. Gather the cards together again, repeat steps 1-7 and work through them until you have done this twenty-one times.
9. At the end of the session total the number of ticks you have and make a note of it.

Do not be worried if your score is low initially. Remember that you are developing a new skill and will improve. Also, do not be concerned if, for a while, you seem to get worse. The reason is that your mind often rebels against your efforts to change it. However, it invariable co-operates with you within quite a short period of time.
